Copenhagen Wolves are the second finalist of the DreamHack Open London qualifier after moving past E-frag.net 3-2 (16-13 on de_cache, 16-5 on de_dust2, 4-16 on de_mirage, 5-16 on de_inferno and 16-8 on de_overpass). With SK Gaming already through to DreamHack Open London after beating PENTA Sports 3-1 on Tuesday, the second semi-final pitted the new Copenhagen Wolves squad, featuring three Norwegian and two Swedish players, against E-frag, who have been struggling for consistency. At first, it looked like the Norwegian/Swedish mixture would pass this test with flying colors as they took a 2-0 lead in the series following a 16-13 win on de_cache and a 16-5 mauling on de_dust2.
E-frag.net then picked themselves up and equalised the series following back-to-back comfortable wins on de_mirage and de_inferno, only to see CPH Wolves win the final map to book a spot at the event in London.
